Innovation is a tradition
Creating shade, to dialogue with light. In the late nineties, in a craftsman's small workshop, the idea of an outdoor culture took shape: shading solutions that could combine function and design. That idea still guides everything we make — every awning, every pergola, every detail is an answer to how people actually live outdoors.
The origins
In the beginning, there was a window
At the time, there was simply the need to provide shade over a window — but from the first iconic canopy designs, Alfaprotech shading evolved into functional and design solutions that opened up new outdoor possibilities. What began as protection from the sun became a way to add whole rooms to a home, under the open sky.
The bioclimatic chapter
The turn of the millennium marked a fundamental step: the introduction of bioclimatic pergolas, where the roof itself becomes an intelligent machine for climate control. Adjustable louvres, sensors and integrated systems turned static shade into living comfort — and redefined what people expect from an outdoor structure.

Year after year, Alfaprotech has grown from a local workshop into a brand serving projects across borders — from private residences to hospitality and retail. The scale changed; the approach did not: every structure is still engineered, produced and finished with the same obsession for detail.
