Why publish, and why now
Dealers and architects increasingly ask for environmental documentation before the first drawing is exchanged. Rather than answer with fragments, we spent a year measuring: what enters the factory, what leaves it, and what happens to our products at the end of their long service life. The report is the honest sum of that exercise.
Aluminium that comes back
The structural core of every Alfaprotech system is aluminium, a material that can be recycled without losing properties. Our assemblies are designed to be separable: blades come off the frame, fabric zips out of its guides, drives unclip. Separability is what makes recycling real rather than theoretical, and it is now a design rule for every new component.
The factory floor
The report details the two processes with the largest footprint: powder coating, where we recovered solvents and cut oven energy with heat recycling, and aluminium machining, where chips are now sorted and remelted closed-loop. Roof-mounted generation covers a growing share of daytime consumption, and the next milestone is a documented reduction in water use per finished frame.
Comfort that saves energy
The least advertised chapter is the one we are proudest of: measured on real installations, a shaded window or glazed door reduces the cooling demand of the room behind it during peak sun hours. Our products exist to create comfort outdoors; it turns out they quietly lower consumption indoors as well. That effect belongs in a sustainability report more than any certificate on a wall.
