The project
On the Spanish coast near Dénia, the owners of a villa overlooking the sea wanted to turn a bare passage between house, garden and pool into a real outdoor room. Three coupled AP-310 bioclimatic pergolas now follow the line of the building, creating a shaded promenade that links every part of the property.
Between house and landscape
The pergola reads as a natural extension of the villa rather than an add-on: the same warm finish as the window frames, slim posts kept to the minimum, and an uninterrupted view of the water. Underneath, a lounge and a dining area share the same roof, so sunset dinners and lazy afternoons happen in the same place.
Light and air on demand
The motorized louvers rotate to more than 130 degrees, so the family tunes sunlight and ventilation as the day moves on: open for the morning breeze, half-closed at noon, sealed tight when the sea rain arrives. Integrated LED lighting in the blades keeps the terrace alive long after dark.
